To create a completely synchronized, phase coherent multi-channel generator system with up to 12 analog channels and 24 marker outputs, two to six M8190A or M8121 A Arbitrary Waveform Generator modules are combined with the Keysight Technologies, Inc. M8192A synchronization module.

Synchronization Features

High Port Density Module

Playing several waveforms simultaneously is sometimes necessary for complex testing (e.g., multi-emitter testing). Engineers can synchronize up to 12 M8190A channels with the M8192A synchronization module, which fits into a typical AXIe frame. PCI Express® and other high-speed digital bus testing is also supported by the M8192A synchronization module. Testing up to ten lanes using the M8051A and M8041A BERT modules in tandem can improve test efficiency. The M8192A module has the ability to synchronize these.

One M9505A 5-slot AXIe chassis (M8190S-B04), one M8192A synchronization module, two M8190A AWG modules, and the necessary quantity of clock and trigger cables make up the 4-channel system. Two M9505A 5-slot AXIe chassis (M8190S-B08), one M8192A synchronization module, four M8190A AWG modules, and the necessary quantity of clock and trigger cables make up the eight-channel system.
